The REAL reason why I’m writing this review is because when I was thinking about buying Eat Stop Eat I couldn’t find many REAL or honest reviews so I thought I’d help those out who are in my shoes and provide a real, genuine review.
I have a warning, however. I am going to talk about both the GOOD and BAD points of Eat Stop Eat so if that’s something you don’t want to hear then press the back button now.
My Experience with Eat Stop Eat
I have had weight issues for most of my life, but when my doctor told me that I was at risk of developing obesity, I knew I had to try and find a solution that would stick. I have tried and failed at many diet programs, and it has not been a pleasant experience. The diets would work for about a month or two, but soon enough, it would be too difficult to stick to the restrictions that are given, and I would end up giving in to my cravings. I had to a large extent given up on diet programs, and I raised my concern with a close friend of mine. To my surprise, she recommended that I try the eat stop eat program.
Facts and fads about Eat stop Eat
Getting such advice from my friend came as a shocker to me. Just from the name, Eat Stop Eat, I could tell that this program involved going without food. I had been fed information that indicated that it is necessary to eat if you are going to lose weight. This was based on the premise that if your metabolism is compromised due to food deprivation, your body automatically stopped burning fat to preserve energy. This is called starvation mode, where your body uses as little energy as possible as a way of self-preservation.
However, my friend quickly assured me that the Eat Stop Eat program does not allow your body to go into starvation mode, since the fasting is intermittent and does not go on for too long, hence the Eat after the Stop. My friend believed that my biggest problem, which had made me unsuccessful in other weight loss attempts, was that I had a mental addiction to eating. This I could not deny, and since this was coming from my own friend, I went ahead and got on the eat stop eat program.
My experience
I could not believe how easy the Eat Stop Eat program was.Sure, the fasting was not the easiest thing for me, but that was soon
forgotten as soon as the fast period was over, since I got to eat what I wanted. In fact, after awhile, I realized that rather than eat more than usual after a fast, I would simply go back to a normal-sized meal that I would absolutely enjoy. With other diets, especially those that involved me eating tiny meals in the course of the day, I had serious hunger pangs. With Eat Stop Eat, I preferred going through a longer fast period and then going back to normal eating.
There are so many things that make Eat Stop Eat stand out from other weight loss programs. If I call a weight loss program easy, believe me, it is nothing but, and Eat Stop Eat is easy! One is the fact that it is extremely flexible. I do not have to feel guilty about eating out every now and then because I will already have adjusted my fast days so they fall on days when there is no event taking place. In addition, is contrast to other diets, where a night out would mean a lot of restriction in the coming days, Eat Stop Eat allows me to just go back to my normal routine with no hassle and no need to ‘catch up’.

My assessment
Nothing is perfect of course, so here is my assessment of the pros and cons of Eat Stop Eat:
Pros:
- Eat Stop Eat is flexible, and you are left to decide which days of the week you want to fast without any restrictions
- I still get to eat my favorite foods once I am off the fast
- There was no loss in energy and my body did not go into starvation mode
- Eat Stop Eat is simple, and eliminates the need for counting calories, which I find tedious
- The fact that it comes with a money-back guarantee is a security in case the program does not work in your favor
Cons:
- Eat Stop Eat involves an exercise regime, which was the hardest part for me
- The program cannot be used by people with health concerns such as diabetes
- Getting rid of my addiction to eating was a challenge at first
My results
Eat Stop Eat would not have worked if I had not lost the excess weight, which I did. Within the first month, I had lost 5 pounds, which was more than I had lost in any other program before Eat Stop Eat. I am now far from any threat of obesity, and I am more energetic than I have been in a long time. My family and friends were a little skeptical about Eat Stop Eat, since they too have been brainwashed into believing that anything that eliminates eating is unhealthy. However, the results speak for themselves, and now that I am more fit than most of them, and actually enjoy working out, their attitude has changed.
Because of my success with Eat Stop Eat, I have also been able to convince my friends and colleagues to try the program, and more success stories have resulted. In addition, my doctor gave a clean bill of health, so I am sure that the Eat Stop Eat program is actually healthy, especially if you think of where I started my journey. I feel better than I have felt in years, and all thanks to my doctor, and Brad Pilon. Eat Stop Eat has definitely changed my life for the better.
My Recommendation and Final Verdict
If you are in a fix such as the one I found myself in, and your weight is taking its toll on you, it is time to do something about it – and something that works. There are numerous programs that are claimed to work, and every time they don’t, you are left in a worse place than you were in before. I would recommend the Eat Stop Eat program to everyone who is ready to change the way they look and feel. With Eat Stop Eat, you get a simple and straightforward method to weight loss that you will be able to implement for the long term.
